McCall joins current Institute and fellow JCSU members Dr. Denisha Hendricks and Kristene Kelly who will graduate in June.

The NCAA Leadership Institute for Ethnic Minority Males Females was designed to address the critical shortage of senior-level administrators of color in athletics administration at NCAA member institutions and conference offices. The institute prepares diverse leaders through a 12-month leadership training and skills development experience enhancing their job-related competencies in selected areas through completion of four professional development sessions, practical work and a week-long intensive workshop.

The Institute is led by a diverse group of recognized leaders in business, higher education and intercollegiate athletics. Attendees were selected from a list of applicants that were nominated by a staff member from the NCAA institution or conference office where they are currently employed.

Each participant must complete four consecutive weekend development sessions before completing the week-long intensive workshop. Upon completion of the Institute, institutions and conference offices of the participants or the individual will receive a $3,000 scholarship to defray costs incurred during the 12-month institute period.
