Johnson C. Smith to Hold Final Football Scrimmage Tomorrow



Final scrimmage to be held tomorrow

The Johnson C. Smith University football team under the direction of third-year head coach Daryl C. McNeill will hold their final scrimmage of the 2007 pre-season on Thursday, August 16 at 6:00 pm at the Irwin Belk Complex. Fans, alumni, and students will get one last chance to get a sneak peak of the gold and blue before they square off against Edward Waters on August 25, 2007 at 6:00 pm.

The scrimmage will last about an hour and a half and the team will run roughly 60 plays. The 2007 pre-season camp will officially end on Saturday (August 18) when the team and all other fall sports will take part in the third annual Festi-BULL from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the Irwin Belk Complex. Festi-BULL is an event that is free and open to the public. There will be free food, music, drinks, inflatable rides, face painting, and a celebrity guest! Players and coaches will also be on hand for autographs.
