GolfJCSU Golf Finishes 4th at CIAA Eastern Division Golf Challenge

The Johnson C. Smith University men's golf team finished in fourth place at the CIAA Eastern Division Golf Challenge in Manakin-Sabot, VA. The team shot 358 on Tuesday and then 358 on Wednesday for a two-day total of 716. Top 20 finishers for JCSU were junior Enobong Udo (11th) who shot a 153 (74, 79) and Andre Kelley in 20th place with a total of 175 (87, 88). Fayetteville State University claimed the crown after shooting a tournament low 287 and 289 on each day. Virginia State University finished in the runner-up position with a two-day score of 631 with St. Augustine's College finishing in third place. JCSU returns to action on April 15-17, 2007 at the Paine College Invitational in Augusta, GA. |
