Senior wide receiver, Marquis Belton has been named Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Wide Receiver of the Week. Belton had six receptions for 159 yards and a touchdown in the Golden Bulls' 19-14 victory over Edward Waters College on Saturday.

Belton is currently leading the CIAA in receptions per game (6.0), receiving yards per game (159.0), and all-purpose yardage (159.0). The Charlotte, NC native is majoring in physical education with a concentration in sports management. The Golden Bulls will be back in action this Saturday, September 2, 2006 as they take on the Pioneers of Glenville State College. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:00 pm at Morris Stadium in Glenville, W.Va.
