CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Doubletree Hotel Charlotte - Gateway Village is sponsoring twenty - five members of the Beatties Ford Saints Pop Warner football program as participants in the Johnson C. Smith University Athletics "Sports Leadership" program on Saturday October 20, 2007. The JCSU "Sports Leadership" program is part of the university's athletic Community Activation Initiative which is designed to foster community outreach/partnerships, generate ticket sales to athletic events and help enhance the JCSU fan base.

JCSU coaches and players host Leadership Forums with area youth groups to discuss choices and outcomes. The Beatties Ford Saints football team will be participating in a variety of on campus events:

Participate in the JCSU "Bull Walk" - Football Team & Band

Participate in a Campus Tour

Attend the Virginia State University vs. JCSU football game
