Johnson C. Smith University announces the signing of Atlanta's Jamil Ahmad Jones to a National Letter of Intent. Jamil signed with the University April 23rd to become a part of its tennis program.

Jones, the son of James Jones and Pamela Lewis-Jones, is captain of his tennis team at Benjamin Mays High School in Atlanta.

"We are very happy to have Jamil," said Coach Cuthbertson. "He will bring stability and greatly enhance our program. His serves and his volleys are second to none."

Jones received the MVP award in three of his years at Mays.
