The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association have made their pairings and the Johnson C. Smith University women are set to play on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 9 p.m. The women, who were seeded at number three, have earned a first round bye and  will play #6 Saint Paul's College. The winner of that game moves on to play the winner of #2 Bowie State vs. the winner of #7 Elizabeth City State/#10 Virginia Union on Friday, February 29, 2007 at 3p.m. JCSU split with Saint Paul's during the regular season.

The Golden Bulls who earned their third consecutive western division crown and a first-round bye, will play #5 Saint Augustine's College on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. The winner of that contest moves on to face the winner of #1 Virginia Union and #8Virginia State/#10 Saint Paul's at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 29. The gold and blue comes in at the #4 seed. The JCSU men fell to Saint Augustine's both times during the regular season by buzzer-beaters.
