In the interest of time, this brief email is just to inform the fans, media, and supporters of JCSU women's basketball when the team will be playing in post-season play. A more detailed email will follow tomorrow morning.

Johnson C. Smith Lady Golden Bulls will be playing Wingate University in the NCAA post season regional tournament. The South Atlantic Region will be held on the campus of Francis Marion University in Florence, SC beginning this Friday, March 14, 2008. The tournament will run on March 14, 15, and 17th.

Johnson C. Smith comes in at the #8 seed and will take on the #1 seeded Wingate University. Both teams split during the regular season. JCSU is one of two CIAA schools that advanced to regional play. CIAA Champion Shaw University was the other institution.
