The Johnson C. Smith University women's bowling team posted a 1-4 record on Day 1 on the conference championships and did not advance to Day 2.

The ladies lost to Bowie State University but rebounded to defeat Virginia Union (651-588). The next three matches would not go as planned as JCSU fell in defeat to Elizabeth City State, St. Paul's and Shaw.
