Rosado Pitched Two Complete Games and went 4-for-6 on the day

March 26, 2007

Final Stats

Johnson C. Smith University senior catcher Jennifer Rosado had an outstanding day as she pitched two complete games in a 13-4 and 19-9 loss to Morris College (2-2). Despite giving up a combined 30 runs in both games, Rosado struck out three batters and went 4-for-6 on the day including a homerun. She also drove in three runs courtesy of her two triples.

Head coach Jason Mai opted to use Rosado as his hurler as opposed to regular pitcher Nicole Villarreal since this was a non-conference match-up and the gold and blue will face conference foe Shaw University tomorrow.

Freshman Asha Trim had her first three hits of her young career going 3-for-4 and driving in a run.

The Lady Golden Bulls (4-10, 4-4 CIAA) snapped their four-game winning streak but will look to rebound tomorrow, March 27, 2007 when they will travel to Raleigh, NC to face Shaw University. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 pm at Walnut Creek Park.
