Senior third baseman Brandi Young was named the CIAA Softball Player of the Year. This is the second time in school history that a player from Johnson C. Smith University has earned that honor. She was joined on the all-conference team by second baseman Nikia Beachem. Freshman Larissa Broadie earned all-rookie honors at the shortstop position.
