Women's Volleyball
Marquisha Clayburn begins her fourth year as the women's volleyball coach. Clayburn joined the Golden Bulls staff as a full-time member after serving as the assistant coach for the past two seasons. In 2002, she was the head volleyball coach at J T Williams Middle School. An avid athlete, Clayburn still competes on the recreational level. She works full-time as a Recreation Coordinator Program Supervisor with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation. A 2001 graduate of the university with a degree in Physical Education, Clayburn was a four year starter on both the women's basketball and volleyball teams and was named captain for both teams in her last two seasons. Clayburn was named All-CIAA in both sports during her matriculation at JCSU. In fact, she is ranked third all-time in assists within the CIAA.
