Final Stats

Stephony Newkirk racked up on 16 kills en route to Saint Augustine's 3-0 defeat over Johnson C. Smith University in Brayboy Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-14, 25-12, 25-18. Alexis Webb led the way for the Lady Golden Bulls with 12 assists while Mauranda Elliott recorded seven digs.

Roxanne Smith dished out a match high 31 assists while Nicolette Campbell was a defensive monster recording 20 digs for Saint Augstine's. Casey Williams added nine kills.

JCSU falls to 8-14 overall, 4-6 in the CIAA and 2-4 in the western division. Saint Augustine's improves to 11-13 overall, 6-4 in the CIAA, and 3-2 in the division.

JCSU will move on to face Morris College in a non-conference match on Thursday, October 23 in Sumter, S.C.
